ABOUT CSCF

Candice’s Sickle Cell Fund, Inc. (CSCF, Inc.) was Incorporated in December of 2000. By establishing Candice’s Sickle Cell Fund, we are dedicated to improving services to those who suffer from sickle cell disease.

“Hello, my name is Candice Young-Deler and in spite of having sickle cell disease, I have overcome many obstacles. Achieving outstanding grades while attending school was a task, which limited my chances for a scholarship. Because of severe pain caused by sickle cell crises, I constantly struggled with school related work. I found it very difficult, but not unattainable. For this reason, we assist students with sickle cell disease by awarding a $1,500 scholarship to three individuals annually.”
